Responsibilities
- Manage the full-cycle general ledger accounting, including month-end and year-end close processes.
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements with high accuracy and timeliness.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports for internal stakeholders and external auditors.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis initiatives.
- Maintain accurate fixed asset records and depreciation schedules.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations and GAAP standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; Master’s degree (CPA, CMA) preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Strong proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP) and advanced Excel skills.
- Experience with financial reporting and audit preparation is highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a cross-functional team.
