Responsibilities
- Oversee the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Prepare complex financial reports, budgets, and forecasts for senior management and stakeholders.
- Manage general ledger activities, reconciling accounts and investigating variances.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, corporate policies, and external regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial processes and improve operational efficiency.
- Conduct internal audits and assist external auditors during annual reviews.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- CPA, CMA, or similar professional certification is highly desirable.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting or financial analysis.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
