Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Lead audit preparation and coordinate with external auditors to ensure compliance
- Develop and implement financial controls to optimize processes and mitigate risk
- Analyze financial data to provide actionable insights for strategic decision-making
- Maintain accurate general ledger and support budgeting/forecasting initiatives
- Mentor junior accounting staff and foster a culture of continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software (NetSuite, SAP) and Excel
- Demonstrated expertise in GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial controls
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to interpret complex financial data
- Strong leadership experience with proven ability to mentor teams
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation required
