Responsibilities
- Manage month-end closing processes and financial statement preparation
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and general ledger reconciliations
- Lead internal control audits and SOX compliance documentation
- Analyze financial data to support budget forecasting and variance reporting
- Coordinate with external auditors during annual reviews
- Mentor junior accounting staff and process improvement initiatives
- Implement and optimize accounting software systems (NetSuite preferred)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expert knowledge of GAAP, SOX, and financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and ERP systems
- Experience with multi-currency transactions and international reporting
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
