Responsibilities
- Oversee the end-to-end monthly and quarterly financial close process, ensuring all deliverables are accurate and submitted on time.
- Prepare and analyze complex financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, in accordance with GAAP standards.
- Manage the annual budgeting process and assist in long-term financial forecasting and variance analysis.
- Ensure strict compliance with internal controls, tax regulations, and external audit requirements.
- Collaborate with the IT department to optimize accounting software and automate manual workflows.
- Mentor junior accounting staff and provide training on best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or ACCA certification is mandatory.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in corporate accounting, with a strong background in financial reporting.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros) and experience with ERP systems (SAP or Oracle preferred).
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and regulatory compliance standards.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
