Responsibilities
- Oversee daily restaurant operations including staff scheduling, inventory management, and cost control
- Train and mentor front-of-house staff on service standards, menu knowledge, and upselling techniques
- Implement and maintain health/safety protocols and ensure compliance with NYC regulations
- Develop strategies to enhance guest experiences and build repeat business
- Collaborate with culinary team on menu development, seasonal promotions, and supplier relationships
- Monitor financial performance including P&L analysis and budget management
- Coordinate with marketing team on social media presence and local community engagement
Qualifications
- 5+ years of restaurant management experience in high-volume establishments
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and controlling food/beverage costs
- Strong leadership skills with ability to inspire and develop diverse teams
- Expert knowledge of NYC health codes and liquor licensing requirements
- Advanced proficiency in POS systems (Toast, Square) and inventory software
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities during peak service periods
- Passion for Italian cuisine and commitment to hospitality excellence
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or equivalent experience
