Responsibilities
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and medical information accurately.
- Administer medications, intravenous fluids, and complex treatments as prescribed by the medical team.
- Operate and manage life-support equipment, including ventilators and cardiac monitors.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and execute comprehensive care plans.
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families during critical situations.
- Ensure all documentation complies with regulatory standards and hospital policies.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and code situations.
Qualifications
- Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Massachusetts.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an ICU or Critical Care setting.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PCCN/CCRN certifications required.
- Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems (Epic preferred).
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including rotating weekends and holidays.
