Responsibilities
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and medical information with precision.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the medical team.
- Operate and maintain specialized medical equipment, including ventilators and cardiac monitors.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families during critical transitions.
- Assess patient status in real-time, intervening rapidly during emergencies.
- Maintain strictly accurate clinical documentation in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
Qualifications
- Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Massachusetts.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an ICU or Critical Care setting.
- BLS, ACLS, and CCRN certifications (or ability to obtain within 6 months).
- Strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to work under high-pressure scenarios.
- Proficiency in modern EHR systems and patient monitoring technology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively within a team.
