Responsibilities
- Extract, clean, and validate data from Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems and various databases.
- Develop and maintain interactive data visualizations using Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools.
- Collaborate with clinical staff and IT teams to identify data gaps and optimize data workflows.
- Ensure strict compliance with HIPAA regulations and data privacy standards.
- Conduct statistical analysis to support clinical trials, reporting, and research outcomes.
- Generate regular reports for stakeholders to track key performance indicators (KPIs) in patient care.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Health Informatics, Biostatistics, Nursing Informatics, or a related technical field.
- Proven experience with SQL, Python, or R for data manipulation and analysis.
- Familiarity with medical coding standards (ICD-10, CPT, LOINC) and healthcare terminology.
- Strong attention to detail and deep understanding of data governance frameworks.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to translate complex data for non-technical stakeholders.
