Responsibilities
- Provide advanced assessment and monitoring of critically ill patients in the ICU setting
- Administer complex medications and interventions with precision and safety
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and execute patient care plans
- Operate advanced life support equipment including ventilators and hemodynamic monitors
- Document patient progress comprehensively using our electronic health record system
- Educate patients and families on critical care procedures and recovery protocols
- Participate in rapid response codes and emergency resuscitation efforts
Qualifications
- Active California RN license (required)
- BSN degree (MSN preferred)
- Minimum 3 years ICU experience in Level I trauma center
- Current ACLS, BLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications
- Expertise in hemodynamic monitoring and ventilator management
- Strong critical thinking and rapid decision-making abilities
- Experience with Epic EMR system
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
