Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze complex healthcare datasets to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for process improvement within clinical operations.
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards using Tableau and Power BI to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) for stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including clinicians, IT specialists, and administration, to translate data insights into actionable business strategies.
- Ensure strict compliance with HIPAA regulations and data privacy standards during all analysis processes.
- Design and implement data validation protocols to guarantee the accuracy and integrity of patient records.
- Conduct A/B testing on new healthcare software interfaces and report on user adoption metrics.
- Lead ad-hoc reporting projects and produce executive summaries for the C-suite.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Health Informatics, Biostatistics, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 3+ years of professional experience in healthcare data analysis or clinical informatics.
- Proficiency in SQL (advanced queries) and Python (pandas, numpy) for data manipulation.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Strong understanding of ICD-10 coding, HL7 standards, and EHR systems.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex data to non-technical audiences.
- Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) or similar credentials are a plus.
