Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, and implement evidence-based interventions for acute patient conditions
- Administer medications and treatments with precision while monitoring patient responses
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and execute care plans
- Document clinical observations and patient progress accurately in EMR systems
- Educate patients and families on discharge plans and health management strategies
- Maintain strict compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and JCAHO regulations
- Participate in rapid response and code blue activations
Qualifications
- Active NY State RN license with minimum 2 years ED experience
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Proficiency in Epic EMR and telehealth technologies
- Demonstrated critical thinking in high-pressure scenarios
- Excellent communication and de-escalation skills
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights and weekends
- Specialty certification (e.g., CEN, CCRN) highly valued
