Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, and implement nursing care for critically ill patients.
- Monitor patient vital signs and interpret hemodynamic data accurately.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of physicians and specialists.
- Manage complex equipment, including ventilators and infusion pumps.
- Administer medications and document patient progress with meticulous detail.
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families.
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and infection control standards.
Qualifications
- Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Massachusetts.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an ICU or high-acuity setting.
- Current BLS and ACLS certification from the American Heart Association.
- CCRN certification is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and critical thinking skills under pressure.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
