Responsibilities
- Assess and triage patients in high-acuity emergency settings using advanced clinical judgment
- Administer critical interventions including IV medications, blood products, and emergency resuscitation
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and execute patient care plans
- Document electronic health records with precision and timeliness
- Educate patients and families on discharge instructions and preventive care
- Maintain strict compliance with JCAHO and OSHA safety protocols
- Participate in rapid response and code blue activations
Qualifications
- Active Washington State RN license (or compact state license)
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required, MSN preferred
- Minimum 2 years ED or critical care experience
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
- Demonstrated expertise in rapid assessment and critical decision-making
- Strong communication skills with ability to de-escalate high-stress situations
- Experience with Epic EMR system preferred
