Responsibilities
- Design and execute complex preclinical studies to validate therapeutic targets
- Lead interdisciplinary teams in developing novel drug candidates from discovery to IND-enabling studies
- Analyze and interpret genomic/proteomic data using advanced bioinformatics tools
- Collaborate with regulatory affairs to ensure compliance with FDA/EMA guidelines
- Present findings at industry conferences and publish in peer-reviewed journals
- Mentor junior scientists and optimize laboratory workflows
Qualifications
- PhD in Pharmacology, Biochemistry, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in cell-based assays and high-throughput screening methodologies
- Proven track record in drug discovery with 2+ IND submissions
- Strong proficiency in CRISPR, RNAi, and molecular cloning techniques
- Experience managing cross-functional teams and project timelines
- Publish record in top-tier journals (e.g., Nature, Science, Cell)
- FDA/EMA regulatory compliance knowledge preferred
