Responsibilities
- Provide specialized cardiac nursing care to critically ill patients in 20-bed ICU
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, administering life-saving interventions
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team on complex patient care plans
- Utilize advanced hemodynamic monitoring and ventilator management skills
- Mentor junior nurses and participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation standards
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Massachusetts (compact license accepted)
- BSN degree required, MSN preferred
- 3+ years critical care nursing experience
- ACLS, BLS, and ACLS certifications required
- Experience with ventricular assist devices (VADs) preferred
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Excellent communication and patient advocacy abilities
