Responsibilities
- Deliver advanced critical care to patients with complex conditions including post-operative recovery, cardiac monitoring, and ventilator management
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments with precision while monitoring patient responses
- Document clinical observations and interventions using Epic EMR system
- Provide education to patients and families on recovery protocols and home care
- Participate in rapid response team activations and code blue emergencies
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols and safety standards
Qualifications
- Active California RN license required
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Minimum 2 years ICU or critical care experience
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications
- Proficiency in hemodynamic monitoring and ventilator management
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication skills with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure emergency situations
