Responsibilities

  • Direct and coordinate daily manufacturing activities, ensuring production schedules are met efficiently and effectively.
  • Supervise, train, and develop a team of production operators, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Monitor production output, product quality, and equipment performance, implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Ensure strict adherence to all safety protocols, quality standards (e.g., ISO), and company policies.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives using Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Collaborate with maintenance, quality control, and supply chain departments to optimize workflow and resolve operational issues.
  • Prepare production reports, analyze data, and present findings to management to support decision-making.
  • Manage inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods to prevent shortages or overstocking.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field; equivalent experience considered.
  • 3-5 years of progressive experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
  • Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and continuous improvement tools.
