Responsibilities
- Direct and coordinate daily manufacturing activities, ensuring production schedules are met efficiently and effectively.
- Supervise, train, and develop a team of production operators, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Monitor production output, product quality, and equipment performance, implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Ensure strict adherence to all safety protocols, quality standards (e.g., ISO), and company policies.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives using Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Collaborate with maintenance, quality control, and supply chain departments to optimize workflow and resolve operational issues.
- Prepare production reports, analyze data, and present findings to management to support decision-making.
- Manage inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods to prevent shortages or overstocking.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field; equivalent experience considered.
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
- Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and continuous improvement tools.
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a diverse team in a production setting.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to operational challenges.
- Proficiency with manufacturing execution systems (MES) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) software.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including occasional evenings or weekends, as production demands.
