Responsibilities
- Oversee daily production operations ensuring efficiency and adherence to quality standards
- Train and mentor team members on safety protocols and technical processes
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste and optimize workflows
- Conduct regular equipment maintenance scheduling and troubleshooting
- Collaborate with engineering teams to process improvements and new product launches
- Prepare production reports and analyze KPIs for continuous improvement
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and ISO 9001 standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field
- Minimum 5 years in manufacturing leadership role
- Certification in Lean Six Sigma or equivalent process improvement methodology
- Proficiency in ERP/MES systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
- Strong problem-solving skills with root cause analysis experience
- OSHA 30-hour certification preferred
- Excellent communication and team leadership abilities
- Ability to work rotating shifts and stand for extended periods
