Responsibilities
- Oversee daily production activities, ensuring targets and quality standards are met
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to optimize efficiency and reduce waste
- Manage and mentor production teams of 15-20 technicians
- Coordinate maintenance schedules and troubleshoot equipment issues
- Develop and enforce safety protocols compliant with OSHA standards
- Analyze production data to identify improvement opportunities
- Collaborate with engineering on process innovations
- Manage inventory levels and supply chain logistics
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field
- 5+ years in manufacturing leadership, preferably in automotive sector
- Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies
- OSHA certification and safety compliance expertise
- Advanced proficiency in ERP/MRP systems (SAP or Oracle)
- Proven track record of improving production KPIs (OEE, scrap rates)
- Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work rotating shifts and occasional overtime
