Responsibilities
- Oversee daily production operations, ensuring efficiency and adherence to quality standards
- Implement Lean Manufacturing principles to reduce waste and optimize workflows
- Train, mentor, and evaluate production staff to foster skill development
- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement process improvements
- Monitor KPIs including output rates, defect percentages, and safety metrics
- Manage inventory control and production scheduling
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and ISO 9001 standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing production supervision
- Strong background in Lean Six Sigma or continuous improvement methodologies
- Proven track record of meeting production targets and reducing costs
- OSHA 30-hour certification required
- Advanced proficiency in production management software (SAP, MES)
- Exceptional leadership and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends as needed
