Responsibilities
- Oversee daily production operations and workflow optimization
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste and improve efficiency
- Train and mentor production staff on safety protocols and quality standards
- Monitor KPIs including output, scrap rates, and on-time delivery
- Collaborate with engineering teams for process improvements
- Ensure OSHA compliance and maintain a safe working environment
- Manage inventory control and material handling systems
- Generate production reports and performance metrics
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing production supervision
- Certification in Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma preferred
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and quality control systems
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams
- Advanced problem-solving and root cause analysis skills
- Experience with ERP/MES systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
