Responsibilities
- Oversee daily production operations, ensuring adherence to quality standards, safety protocols, and efficiency targets
- Lead and mentor cross-functional teams of 15-20 technicians, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
- Implement Lean Manufacturing principles to reduce waste, optimize workflows, and enhance productivity
- Coordinate with engineering and maintenance teams to troubleshoot equipment issues and implement preventive maintenance
- Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and drive process optimization initiatives
- Manage inventory control and supply chain logistics to maintain seamless production schedules
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and ISO 9001 quality management systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience in automotive/industrial production
- Proven expertise in Lean Six Sigma methodologies and Kaizen events
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret production metrics and KPIs
- OSHA 30 certification and familiarity with ISO 9001 standards
- Advanced proficiency in ERP/MES systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent)
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and decision-making under pressure
- Excellent communication skills with demonstrated team development success
