Responsibilities
- Oversee daily production operations, ensuring quality standards and efficiency targets are met
- Implement and optimize lean manufacturing principles to minimize waste and maximize output
- Train and mentor production teams, fostering a safety-first culture
- Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot equipment issues and implement process improvements
- Monitor KPIs including OEE, scrap rates, and production schedules
- Manage inventory control and material flow through the production floor
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and ISO 9001 standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in supervisory roles within manufacturing environments
- Proven expertise in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies
- Strong knowledge of production processes, automation, and quality control systems
- Certifications in OSHA safety management or ISO 9001 preferred
- Advanced proficiency in ERP/MES systems and production scheduling software
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Strong leadership and communication skills with cross-functional teams
