Responsibilities
- Oversee daily production operations for 20+ person team across 3 manufacturing lines
- Implement Lean Six Sigma methodologies to reduce waste by 15% annually
- Ensure OSHA compliance and maintain zero-accident safety culture
- Train and mentor operators on new equipment and quality standards
- Analyze production data to optimize efficiency and reduce downtime
- Coordinate with maintenance team for equipment reliability
- Manage inventory control and Kanban systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field
- 5+ years in manufacturing leadership with automotive industry experience
- Certified Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma Green Belt
- Advanced proficiency in ERP/MES systems (SAP experience preferred)
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision making
- OSHA 30-hour certification required
- Proven track record of reducing production costs by 10%+
