Responsibilities
- Oversee daily production operations for 15-20 team members across multiple assembly lines
- Implement Lean Manufacturing principles to reduce waste and increase efficiency
- Monitor quality control processes and resolve production issues in real-time
- Train and develop staff on equipment operation and safety protocols
- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement process improvements
- Manage inventory levels and coordinate maintenance schedules
- Generate production reports and KPI dashboards for leadership review
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or related field
- Minimum 5 years experience in manufacturing supervision or team leadership
- Certification in Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma preferred
- Strong proficiency with ERP/MES systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
- Proven ability to read technical schematics and blueprints
- OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent safety training
- Excellent problem-solving skills and data-driven decision making
- Experience in automotive or heavy manufacturing preferred
