Responsibilities
- Oversee daily production activities for 50+ team members across 3 manufacturing lines
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to optimize efficiency and reduce waste
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, ISO 9001, and internal quality standards
- Train and mentor production staff on equipment operation and safety protocols
- Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions
- Coordinate maintenance schedules with engineering team to minimize downtime
- Manage inventory levels and material flow through ERP system
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives targeting 5% annual productivity gains
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or related field
- Minimum 5 years in manufacturing supervision with lean certification
- Proven experience with automotive/industrial production environments
- Advanced proficiency in ERP/MES systems (SAP/JDE preferred)
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven problem-solving approach
- OSHA 30-hour certification and safety leadership experience
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution abilities
- Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts and occasional weekends
