Responsibilities
- Oversee 15+ production staff across 3 manufacturing lines
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste by 15%
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and ISO 9001 standards
- Coordinate maintenance schedules and troubleshoot equipment issues
- Analyze production data to optimize efficiency and reduce downtime
- Train staff on new technologies and safety protocols
- Collaborate with QA team to maintain 99.5% product quality rate
- Develop monthly production reports for executive review
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field
- 5+ years experience in manufacturing production supervision
- Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or higher)
- Advanced proficiency in ERP/MES systems (SAP or Oracle preferred)
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety protocols
- Proven track record of improving KPIs (OEE, scrap rate, throughput)
- Experience leading continuous improvement initiatives (Kaizen, 5S)
- Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
