Responsibilities
- Oversee daily production activities, ensuring adherence to quality standards and safety protocols
- Lead and mentor cross-functional teams of 10-15 production associates
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste and improve efficiency
- Monitor KPIs including production output, OEE, and first-pass yield
- Coordinate maintenance schedules and troubleshoot equipment issues
- Develop and optimize production schedules to meet client deadlines
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives through Kaizen events
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and OSHA regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in manufacturing production supervision or leadership role
- Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies
- Proven experience with production planning and inventory control systems
- OSHA 30-hour certification preferred
- Advanced proficiency in ERP/MRP software (SAP, Oracle)
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Strong interpersonal skills with experience in team development
