Responsibilities
- Oversee daily production operations for 25+ team members across multiple assembly lines
- Implement and monitor lean manufacturing principles to optimize workflow and reduce waste
- Ensure strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols and ISO 9001 quality standards
- Conduct root cause analysis for production issues and implement corrective actions
- Manage inventory control and material flow to prevent production bottlenecks
- Train and mentor production staff on equipment operation and quality procedures
- Collaborate with engineering teams on process improvement projects
- Generate production reports and KPI dashboards for leadership review
Qualifications
- 5+ years in manufacturing supervision with automotive or heavy industry experience
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification or equivalent process improvement credentials
- Proven expertise in OSHA compliance and safety program management
- Advanced proficiency in production scheduling software (SAP or Oracle preferred)
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or related field
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision making
- Excellent leadership abilities with demonstrated team development success
- Familiarity with CNC machinery and automated assembly systems
