Responsibilities
- Oversee daily production schedules and ensure timely delivery of high-quality automotive components
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to optimize efficiency and reduce waste
- Train and supervise production teams, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement
- Monitor KPIs including output rates, quality metrics, and equipment utilization
- Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot production issues and implement process enhancements
- Manage inventory control and maintain accurate production documentation
- Ensure strict adherence to OSHA standards and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in production supervision within automotive manufacturing
- Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or higher) preferred
- Proficiency in ERP/MES systems and production planning software
- Demonstrated experience implementing continuous improvement methodologies
- Strong leadership skills with ability to mentor cross-functional teams
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management systems
- Ability to analyze production data and drive data-driven decision making
