Responsibilities
- Oversee daily production activities, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and efficiency targets
- Lead and mentor 15+ cross-functional team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste and optimize production workflows
- Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve production bottlenecks and implement corrective actions
- Monitor KPIs including OEE, scrap rates, and on-time delivery; analyze data to drive process enhancements
- Coordinate maintenance schedules and equipment calibration to minimize unplanned downtime
- Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer demand while optimizing resource allocation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of progressive experience in manufacturing supervision with lean/six sigma certification preferred
- Proven track record of improving production metrics (OEE, scrap reduction, throughput)
- Advanced proficiency in ERP/MES systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret production data and implement data-driven solutions
- OSHA 30-hour certification and thorough knowledge of industrial safety standards
- Excellent leadership abilities with demonstrated success in team development and conflict resolution
- Ability to work rotating shifts and stand for extended periods in a manufacturing environment
