Responsibilities
- Oversee daily production activities, ensuring targets are met while maintaining quality standards
- Lead and mentor teams of 15-20 operators across multiple production lines
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste and improve efficiency
- Coordinate with maintenance, quality control, and supply chain departments
- Develop and optimize production schedules to meet client deadlines
- Ensure strict adherence to OSHA and ISO 9001 compliance standards
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives through Kaizen events
- Manage inventory levels and material flow to prevent bottlenecks
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing supervision or production management
- Proven expertise in lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and industrial safety protocols
- Advanced proficiency in ERP/MRP systems (SAP or Oracle preferred)
- Excellent problem-solving skills with data-driven decision-making ability
- Certification in production management (e.g., CPIM) is highly desirable
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends during peak production periods
