Responsibilities
- Oversee daily production activities across 3-5 assembly lines, ensuring adherence to quality standards and safety protocols
- Implement Lean Manufacturing principles to optimize workflows and reduce waste by 15% annually
- Lead cross-functional teams of 15-20 technicians through performance coaching and skill development
- Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and implement continuous improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with engineering teams on new product launches and process enhancements
- Manage inventory control and material flow to maintain 98% on-time delivery rate
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and ISO 9001 certification requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 5 years' experience in manufacturing supervision with lean/six sigma certification
- Proven track record of improving KPIs (OEE, first-pass yield, downtime reduction)
- Advanced proficiency in ERP/MES systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent)
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision-making capabilities
- OSHA 30-hour certification required
- Experience leading continuous improvement projects (Kaizen, 5S, TPM)
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends during peak production periods
