Responsibilities
- Oversee daily production operations, ensuring adherence to quality standards and safety protocols
- Optimize manufacturing processes to maximize efficiency and reduce waste
- Lead, mentor, and develop production teams through performance management
- Implement lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with engineering teams on equipment upgrades and process innovations
- Manage inventory control and supply chain coordination
- Generate production reports and analyze key performance metrics
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and ISO 9001 standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive manufacturing experience with supervisory experience
- Proven track record implementing lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies
- Advanced proficiency in ERP/MES systems (SAP, Oracle preferred)
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision-making ability
- OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent safety training
- Experience with CNC machinery and automated production systems
- Excellent leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills
