Responsibilities
- Oversee daily production operations for 3+ assembly lines, ensuring targets are met with 99%+ quality adherence
- Implement Lean Manufacturing principles to reduce waste and improve throughput by 15% annually
- Lead cross-functional teams of 15-20 technicians, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
- Coordinate maintenance schedules and troubleshoot technical issues to minimize downtime
- Develop and optimize production SOPs while ensuring strict OSHA and ISO 9001 compliance
- Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions
- Collaborate with engineering teams on process innovations and equipment upgrades
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or related field
- 5+ years in manufacturing leadership with automotive or aerospace experience
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent certification required
- Expertise in ERP/MES systems (SAP, Oracle) and production planning software
- Proven track record of reducing production costs by 10%+ annually
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, OSHA regulations, and safety protocols
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with data-driven decision-making ability
- Experience managing unionized labor environments preferred
