Responsibilities
- Oversee daily production operations including scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow optimization
- Lead cross-functional teams of 15+ technicians to achieve KPIs for output, quality, and safety
- Implement lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives (Kaizen, 5S)
- Ensure strict adherence to ISO 9001 standards and regulatory compliance (OSHA, EPA)
- Conduct root cause analysis for production issues and implement corrective actions
- Collaborate with engineering and quality teams on product development and process refinement
- Manage inventory control, maintenance schedules, and equipment performance metrics
- Develop and mentor team members through performance coaching and skills development programs
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in manufacturing with 2+ years in supervisory/leadership role
- Expert knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and process optimization methodologies
- OSHA 30-hour certification and experience with regulatory compliance frameworks
- Advanced proficiency in production management software (SAP, MES) and data analytics tools
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical systems
- Excellent communication abilities for cross-departmental collaboration and stakeholder reporting
- Proven track record of reducing waste, improving OEE, and implementing cost-saving measures
