Responsibilities
- Oversee daily production operations, ensuring adherence to quality standards and production targets
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste and improve workflow efficiency
- Train and supervise production staff, providing coaching on technical skills and safety protocols
- Monitor equipment performance and coordinate maintenance to minimize downtime
- Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies
- Collaborate with engineering teams to process improvements and product enhancements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field
- Minimum 5 years experience in manufacturing supervision or production management
- Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies
- OSHA certification or equivalent safety management experience
- Proficiency in production management software (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
- Excellent problem-solving skills with data-driven decision-making ability
- Proven track record of improving KPIs (OEE, first-pass yield, etc.)
- Strong leadership and team development capabilities
