Responsibilities
- Oversee daily production activities across 3 assembly lines, optimizing workflow and output
- Implement and monitor lean manufacturing practices to reduce waste and improve efficiency
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, quality control protocols, and safety standards
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives including Kaizen events and 5S methodology
- Train and mentor production staff on technical skills and operational procedures
- Manage inventory control and production scheduling to meet quarterly targets
- Collaborate with engineering teams on process improvements and new product integration
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field
- 5+ years in manufacturing leadership with 2+ years in supervisory role
- Certified Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma Green Belt preferred
- Proficient in ERP/MRP systems (SAP or Oracle experience ideal)
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and AS9100 quality standards
- Experience with CNC machining, assembly processes, and automated systems
- Exceptional problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
- Valid OSHA 30-hour certification or willingness to obtain
