Responsibilities
- Oversee daily production operations across 3 assembly lines, ensuring adherence to quality standards and safety protocols
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste and improve process efficiency by 15% annually
- Lead cross-functional teams including machine operators, technicians, and quality control specialists
- Monitor KPIs including OEE, first-pass yield, and production throughput
- Coordinate maintenance schedules and troubleshoot equipment issues
- Develop and train staff on new technologies and safety procedures
- Collaborate with engineering team on process optimization projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive manufacturing experience with 2+ years in supervisory roles
- Certified Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent process improvement certification
- Proficiency in ERP/MES systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Demonstrated experience with lean manufacturing methodologies
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision-making abilities
- OSHA 30-hour certification preferred
- Experience in automotive or aerospace manufacturing environments
