Responsibilities
- Oversee daily production operations for 15+ team members across 3 assembly lines
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to optimize workflow and reduce waste
- Ensure strict adherence to ISO 9001 and OSHA safety standards
- Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and drive continuous improvement
- Manage inventory control and material flow for JIT manufacturing processes
- Train and mentor production staff on equipment operation and quality protocols
- Collaborate with engineering teams on process optimization and new product integration
- Prepare production reports and performance metrics for senior leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in manufacturing production with 2+ years in supervisory roles
- Certification in Lean Six Sigma or similar process improvement methodology
- Expert knowledge of CNC machinery, robotics, and automated production systems
- Proven track record in meeting/exceeding KPIs (OEE, scrap reduction, on-time delivery)
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in production tracking software (e.g., SAP, MES)
- Excellent leadership abilities with demonstrated team development success
- Ability to work rotating shifts and stand for extended periods in industrial environment
