Responsibilities
- Oversee daily production activities, ensuring targets are met with optimal efficiency
- Implement and maintain Lean Manufacturing principles to reduce waste and improve productivity
- Lead cross-functional teams in problem-solving and process optimization
- Ensure strict adherence to OSHA standards and safety protocols
- Monitor KPIs and implement corrective actions for performance gaps
- Coordinate maintenance schedules to minimize equipment downtime
- Train and develop staff on new technologies and best practices
- Collaborate with engineering on continuous improvement projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or related field
- 5+ years in manufacturing leadership with proven track record
- Certification in Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma preferred
- Expert knowledge of production processes and quality control systems
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret production data
- Excellent communication and team leadership abilities
- Experience with ERP/MES systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
- Ability to work flexible hours including occasional weekends
