Responsibilities
- Oversee daily production activities ensuring efficiency, quality standards, and safety protocols
- Optimize manufacturing processes through lean methodology implementation
- Train and mentor production staff while maintaining a positive work environment
- Monitor KPIs including OEE, scrap rates, and on-time delivery
- Collaborate with maintenance, quality, and engineering teams for continuous improvement
- Manage inventory control and material flow to minimize downtime
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and ISO 9001 standards
Qualifications
- 5+ years in manufacturing production supervision or similar leadership role
- Proven expertise in lean manufacturing principles (5S, Kaizen, Kanban)
- Strong analytical skills with experience in process optimization
- OSHA 30-hour certification required
- Proficiency in ERP/MES systems (SAP or Oracle preferred)
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution abilities
- Experience in automotive or aerospace manufacturing preferred
