Responsibilities
- Lead daily production operations for 15+ team members across 3 manufacturing lines
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste and improve efficiency by 15% annually
- Develop and maintain comprehensive production schedules meeting 99% on-time delivery targets
- Conduct root cause analysis for quality issues using Six Sigma methodologies
- Manage inventory control systems to optimize material usage and reduce carrying costs
- Train and mentor production staff on safety protocols, equipment operation, and quality standards
- Collaborate with engineering teams on continuous improvement projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive manufacturing experience with 2+ years in supervisory roles
- Certification in Lean Manufacturing (Six Sigma Green Belt preferred)
- Expertise in ERP/MES systems (SAP or Oracle experience highly valued)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret production data and KPIs
- OSHA 30 certification and thorough knowledge of industrial safety standards
- Proven track record of reducing production costs while improving quality metrics
- Exceptional leadership and conflict resolution abilities
