Responsibilities
- Oversee daily production operations, ensuring targets are met while maintaining strict quality standards
- Lead and mentor 15+ production technicians through performance management and skill development
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste and improve process efficiency
- Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot equipment issues and implement preventive maintenance
- Manage inventory control, production scheduling, and resource allocation
- Enforce OSHA compliance and foster a zero-incident safety culture
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Kaizen and Six Sigma methodologies
- Generate production reports and analyze KPIs for continuous optimization
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive experience in manufacturing production supervision
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification or equivalent process improvement expertise
- Proven track record in team leadership and performance management
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and industrial safety protocols
- Advanced proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and production scheduling software
- Excellent problem-solving skills with root cause analysis experience
- Ability to work rotating shifts and stand for extended periods in a production environment
