Responsibilities
- Oversee daily production activities across 3 assembly lines, ensuring targets are met with zero safety incidents
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste and improve OEE by 15%
- Train and develop 15+ technicians on new equipment and quality control protocols
- Collaborate with engineering to troubleshoot production issues and implement process improvements
- Manage inventory levels and optimize material flow to prevent production bottlenecks
- Conduct shift handovers and maintain accurate production documentation
- Drive continuous improvement through Kaizen events and 5S methodology
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive experience in production supervision within automotive or heavy manufacturing
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 quality standards
- Proven track record of implementing lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies
- OSHA 30-hour certification and advanced safety program management experience
- Expertise in PLC programming and automated production systems
- Excellent leadership skills with demonstrated team development success
- Proficiency in ERP/MES systems (SAP experience preferred)
