Responsibilities
- Coordinate and supervise 15+ production staff across 3 assembly lines
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste by 20% annually
- Ensure strict compliance with OSHA and ISO 9001 safety standards
- Conduct daily production meetings and performance reviews
- Collaborate with engineering team on continuous improvement initiatives
- Manage inventory control and material flow optimization
- Investigate root causes of production defects and implement corrective actions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field
- Minimum 5 years experience in manufacturing supervision
- Certification in Six Sigma (Green Belt) or Lean Manufacturing
- Advanced proficiency in ERP/MES systems (SAP/JDE preferred)
- Demonstrated leadership in union and non-union environments
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision making
- Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends as needed
