Responsibilities
- Oversee daily production operations across 3-5 manufacturing lines ensuring KPI targets are met
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste and optimize workflow efficiency
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives through Kaizen events and process optimization
- Train and mentor production staff on equipment operation, safety protocols, and quality standards
- Coordinate maintenance schedules and troubleshoot equipment issues to minimize downtime
- Monitor quality control processes and implement corrective actions for non-conformance
- Collaborate with engineering teams on new product launches and process upgrades
- Prepare production reports and analyze performance metrics for continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or related technical field
- Minimum 5 years' experience in manufacturing leadership with 2+ years in supervisory role
- Strong expertise in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies
- Proficiency in ERP/MES systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent)
- Certification in OSHA safety standards and quality management systems
- Demonstrated experience with CNC machinery and automated production systems
- Excellent analytical skills with ability to interpret production data and metrics
- Strong leadership abilities with proven track record of team development
