Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of 20+ person production team, ensuring adherence to quality standards and safety protocols
- Optimize manufacturing processes through Kaizen events and Six Sigma methodologies
- Manage inventory control, equipment maintenance, and production scheduling
- Train and mentor staff on new technologies and safety procedures
- Collaborate with engineering to implement process improvements
- Monitor KPIs including OEE, scrap rates, and on-time delivery
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and OSHA regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field
- 5+ years in manufacturing leadership with automotive industry experience
- Certified Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent process improvement credentials
- Advanced knowledge of lean manufacturing principles (5S, Kanban, TPM)
- Proficient in ERP/MES systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent)
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision-making ability
- OSHA 30-hour certification required
