Responsibilities
- Oversee daily production activities ensuring KPI targets are met or exceeded
- Implement and maintain lean manufacturing principles (5S, Kaizen, Kanban)
- Train and lead 15+ production staff on safety protocols and quality standards
- Coordinate with maintenance team to minimize equipment downtime
- Analyze production data to identify continuous improvement opportunities
- Ensure OSHA compliance and foster a culture of workplace safety
- Manage inventory levels and optimize material flow
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field
- 5+ years in manufacturing supervision with lean certification
- Proficiency in ERP/MES systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Strong analytical skills with experience in root cause analysis
- OSHA 30-hour certification required
- Proven track record in reducing production costs by 15%+
- Excellent leadership and conflict resolution abilities
- Willingness to work rotating shifts and occasional weekends
